I received my MSW from University of North Carolina Wilmington. I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed clinical addiction specialist, and clinical social work
supervisor.
In my private practice, I provide compassionate care for adults of all ages. My work is grounded in a commitment to the belief that healing is possible for everyone. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, CPT and trauma-informed care, I specialize in working with mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and the impacts of trauma. I also offer support in areas such as parenting, identity exploration, and navigating life transitions. LBGTQUIA affirming, safe space.
As a therapist, I strive to create a nonjudgmental and empowering space where clients are encouraged to practice effective coping strategies and build lives that feel meaningful and authentic. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking growth, I'm here to walk with you on your journey toward radical self-acceptance.
I provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians, including LCSW-As and LCAS-As, in North Carolina. I am a Certified Supervisor Intern through the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board and a Certified Supervisor through the National Association of Social Workers North Carolina Chapter.
My approach to supervision is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in ethical, client-centered practice. I aim to help clinicians develop a strong professional identity, deepen their clinical skills, and build confidence in their work while navigating the complexities of helping professions. I also encourage clinicians to cultivate practices that align with their personal values, foster professional sustainability, and support meaningful, rewarding careers in service to their clients and communities
