Nina Hayhurst-Chacon

I am a Licensed Psychological Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. With 16 years of experience in individual therapy, I have dedicated my practice to helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, family challenges, and substance abuse. My focus extends to working directly with individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues, as well as supporting parents of adult children facing similar challenges.

I utilize a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and supportive therapy. My goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgmental environment that fosters healing, growth, and positive change. With an emphasis on personal empowerment, I encourage my clients to tap into their strengths and resources to overcome life's hurdles.
