Brian has been working with client's in an effort to empower and improve their way of living patterns of thinking for eighteen (18) years, specializing in the areas of Addiction/Recovery, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, and Grief/Loss. Brian considers therapy as a conjoint effort that allows individuals to take ownership of their decisions and resulting behaviors, explore identified patterns and pursue a 'life worth living'. Brian's work is centered in a Strengths-Based approach that attempts to highlight a client's positive attributes and allow these characteristics to play an important role in the change process.
We are not 'broken' and trying to be fixed, we are simply making efforts to improve. Brian also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative approaches as staples in his clinical approach.
Brian is available to see clients face to face as well as through telehealth engagement, welcoming individuals ages 18 and up to establish a safe space for the change process, observing therapy as an exploration of self-care and overall wellness.
