Flack, Beth (MA, LPA)
I became interested in psychology as a senior in high school at which time we were studying Sigmund Freud. Along with my interest in Freud came an interest in all human behavior. I have always wondered why people do what they do, essentially what makes them tick. This led me into the field of psychology. I studied undergraduate psychology at The University of North Carolina Wilmington and immediately followed that up with a Master’s degree in psychology from UNCW. My specialties include working with individuals who deal with borderline personality disorder, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behavior, drug and alcohol dependence, bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety disorders. I practice from a cognitive and dialectical behavioral framework.
